Frauenthal Center for Performing Arts

Brad Hastings will join us to share the fascinating history and story of Muskegon’s historic Frauenthal Center. From its opening as the Michigan Theater in 1930 and its near-demolition decades later to the community effort that saved and restored it, Brad will take us through the people, architecture, and milestones that shaped this iconic venue. He’ll also share the story of the historic Barton Organ, recent renovations, and how the Frauenthal continues to serve as an important cultural and community asset for Muskegon and the surrounding area.
