Chipsa Project

Sarah Rinsema-Sybenga, a board member of the Chispa Project, will join us to share how this unique organization is sparking a culture of reading in Honduras by putting books into the hands of children who often have little or no access to them. Sarah will share how Chispa partners with local schools and communities to create libraries, train teachers, and build a lasting love of reading and learning. She’ll also discuss Chispa’s impact—now reaching more than 33,000 students—and ways individuals and organizations can get involved in helping open new opportunities for children through literacy.
